Raise Your Glasses
today is the day where i FINALLY will get my new specs.
but hey...wat do you noe! i have to wait for another week to get my specs done.
3 bloody weeks of waiting in total.
mayb god is testing my level of tolerance. hehe! =)
and so my story begins...
as per normal procedure, i have to wait one week to have my specs ready. and so i waited. then the day arrived. went down with a-hao to get the specs since his is done already.
as i was trying out the specs, its abit loose. so this guy tighten it for me. and while he was doing that...he accidently broke the nose bridge.
as any customer reaction should be..i was shocked. haha! but he said sorry a number of times so i just let it be and let it go. he says he gonna get a new frame and fix it anyways. cos according to him the specs got defect! hahah! nice way to say ure not actually sorry that u broke it huh? *smirk*
and so i waited again. he said it will be ready on wed. i gave him a ring on thurs i think. his gal colleague funny. greet n talk to me in eng. after ask him when my specs will be ready...she replied to me back in chinese.
at first she said saturday. then say sunday. then say the colleague will call. 
think shes confused. haha! two days later, i received an SMS from him saying that my specs are ready for collection.
so i head down to bugis today for collection.
the person who broke it (lets call him apek) was happily eating his dinner so he get his colleague (lets call him charming) to attend to me. so as charming got my specs out from the box and adjusting it, apek said "xiao xin yi tian!"and the first thot that come to my mind is 'be careful? meaning he din get a new one? he just glue it back together?'
hmm...and so after a few adjustment to the specs, i examine it. the nose bridge esp. while i was checking, at the corner of my eye..tht apek was looking at me. mayb scared tht i might broke it again? hmm...and so this nice charming guy said 'you dont worry. if theres anything happen in a few months of wat,u can come back here again.' i smiled and i said okay. thanks. and walk off with the new specs.
happiness shortlived. the specs wasnt my degree at all. objects at far distance was at a blur. so went back to the shop again. have my degrees of my current specs and the new specs. waa...confirm. wrong degree! hahah! charming guy was abit hesitant to change the lens for me but he agreed anyway. and he add on 'you want to change the frame as well? no need to pay.'
