mayb till after the first day of raya or so? hahah! theres so much to blog! but so little time!
there's werk on one hand, make cookies on the other, spring cleaning on the other end, etcs..
many many tasks! i think i owed myself a post too!! =P
last few weeks have been great! althou i emo-ed (HAHA!) for ard blardy pathetic five days. meetups with qah, the babes and the chiclets cheered me up. love 'em! XD
on random rant.
every morning, i will meet either a normal typical kiasu (ks) or a super ks pple. they simply just get on my nerves! one example, this person simply RAN for the empty seat the moment the train door opens. and his RAN action is somewhat like...the olympics. after the gun goes "bang!" its that kind of RAN. wtf?! tao yaaannnnnn~~

Baby's Got a Brand New Hairdo
hari raya is round the corner!
so i decided to make myself pretty! by straightening my hair. again. haha! paid a full amount of a hundred and twenty.
i look....kinda..plain. and straight. and hantu-ish. sooooo irritating la the shoulder length hair! cos the hair tend to curl up cos of the shoulders! so....i called protrim. reserved for this stylist called kevin. damn good man he. all the nice nice hair ive been getting recently, is cut by him! but then stupid receptionist said he was free on sunday BUT the actual fact is his offdays are on sunday! WTF?! i was damn disappointed la! but since i cannot tahan the not-so-long hantu hair...i ask nother quite pro stylist to do it. ivy! she reminds me of aileen tan. but better. hahah! paid abit cheaper than kevin's rate too! thirty three only! and so...the outcome:
much better in my humble opinion. hee! short! i like! but it makes my head look small. (-_-) and i think i look like those 'fake' power rangers toys selling at mama shop. head small body big. wtf?!

i have no idea what to do to make it better. keep it closer.
seems like i'm trying too hard. maybe thats what makes it apart.

Only Human
dad was being referred to tan tock seng hospital today. he felt pain in his bladder area this morning. when he passed urine, he felt something was blocking the passage. he press hard around his bladder area. the next moment, he was passing urine with blood in it. when he told the doc bout his situation, the doc had him referred cause his records were there. and that's how he got referred.
had to wait for bro to get the weekend car coupon in order to send dad to the hospital. while he was waiting, he felt an urge to pass urine. and so he did. and guess what he found...

he found a stone in his bladder, thus the pain. and the blockage. my heart ached.
we went off at ard 1230 i think. upon reaching, A&E was crowded. very crowded. the approximate waiting time for consultation is 1hr 30 mins. there was 30 patients waiting to be consulted. bro followed dad inside to the doc. i can't go in as it only takes one visitor at a time.
aunt came down after work. but she had to go off at 2. after she went off i was impatiently waiting for dad to come out. wait, waited, waiting still. it was not until aroung 330 that dad came out. collected his medication and off home we went. alhamdulillah, nothing happen to him. the doc said he was lucky that a stone that big was out. usually an operation is needed. thank god he don't need that. but the doc said the stone might just come back. so he have to watch what he drink and eat now. am really glad that there is no need for him to be admitted. my mind is really at ease now. and thanks fardy for asking bout dad. =)
bought this while waiting for dad.
there's so many chocolatey recipe inside. worth my thirteen dollars ninety cents.
was looking through for a recipe to try and.....

The Story Of Beauty
i think i owe myself this post. haha!

the day India celebrate its independence from British Colonial Rule. but no...i'm not going to talk bout how India got its independence cos firstly, i dowan to bore you and lastly, i don blardy give a damn nor am i interested. haha!
fifteen aug was actually the day that, finally, everyone's free for a meet-up. oscar, jazzy, fel, qah and me. met them after work at Orchard to grab dinner. qah met them first since she ended work early. she proceed to meet the rest at paragon. and guess who tag along..
mr. isham aka qah's fiance. =D
i thot he will be joining us for dinner..but he didn't cos he wanted to go fishing. his all-time favourite hobby. just like qah's father. =P
while waiting for me to arrive, they settled for Swensens...okay. i suggested. haha! i love the cheesesticks at that outlet man! exceptionally nice i tell ya! but luck wasn't at my side thou. cos according to qah and the rest, the service sux!! qah was like swearing away when i called her! and fel was swearing away when i meet her! yes. that bad! according to them the abnn manager was rude! super uber rude. i didn't remember him the last time i went. so i guess hes new. when i arrived i took a peek inside to see hows hes like. quite young..no wonder so rude la! you noe how youngsters are...if was there witnessing the incident..i swear i would come out with something like this "walao! damn anneh! you think you young and got post as Swensen's manager liao bu qi ar? Swensen nia! not like Ritz Carlton Hotel manager. SAI! if apply aso i can become one!" hahah!
ouh! while on the way to meet them at Ngee Ann City, (well, suppose to be Swensen ma..but becos of tht anneh....kanasai!) i saw my qing ai de aka yvonne! so qiao! cos i chatted with her in the morning in msn! miss her sia! long time nvr see. she put abit of weight but she's still as corky as ever. hahaha! one day we shall plan an outing together aite! let's reunite the 'John Family!'
ooopps! abit off track there. EHEM! *clears throat* and so, off to Ngee Ann City i go. everyone was like so excited to meet each other. i know i was. dunoe where to head to for dinner so we just went up, up, up the escalator. and i saw seoul garden! but got turned down instead cos too ex one thing and another is cos of someone who cant cook. whahaha! XP
so we head off to Breeks instead. and we were all being treated like a princess! cos their service was astounding! haha! qah and the rest was praising bout it. and cos it was way way better than the Swensen one. and dear oscar made this!! aaawww...thanks sweets! they're excellent! =D
and so, we went on to look through the menu....
to order nutrients for the stomach! yeay! and we cam-whored a lil' while waiting. =)
and the food arrives right after we changed seats. cos we were pretty uncomfortable seating by the entrance. =P
the delish foods:
qah's order was spagetti bolognaise. fel's dory fish with lemon sauce (i think) and the checkered fries w/cheese. as for me, oscar and jazzy, we picked seafood baked rice (i think).

and as we eat, we talked, laughed and crapped alot! and guess what?! i was titled the lamest person for the day cos of my batman and ma-tong question. (-.-)"'
and i was showing them my 'bouncer' ic foto.
i still think i look the same. onli tht funky hair back then was gone. haha! ouh! someone else showed a 'THEN' foto of hers.

someone in the group was itching for dessert. i forgot who. its either me, fel or qah. or was it me? *ponders* haha! and so off to Ben&Jerry's we went. but first....wats an outing without the usual cam-whore session. XD
and so thats the end of cam-whoring part one with oscar and jazzy. cos they have to go back early to make jellies! i forgot for who..i think one of it is for oscar's wifey! someone got herself a someone liao~ woooo~! so happy for you oscar!! XD
damn! i feel so lagging behind. (>.<) but neymind...cos i plan to stay single all my life. haha!

when i stand to one side to give oscar n jazzy their share...i feel like those illegal side fruit stall hawkers. but a pretty phat one. HAHA! =P
so, left with me, qah and fel. since we three are a fan of Uncle Ben&Jerry's..we went to the cathay outlet. the moment i step to that building..i was like a tourist i tell you! cos i nvr step inside before. so sad. i felt like an orchard idiot. haha!

coincidently, a live 'band' jamming there. notice i qoute the word band? cos theres onli 2 of them. i don't think tht is considered a band rite? haha! nice songs they jammed to. they played ZOMBIE! one of my fave's! me n qah was feeling the groove and was singing along! fel went all blushy n red n giggling away. i guess she's embarassed to even sit with us! haha! =P

gone was the ice-cream after 20 seconds!
haha! no la. i think 10 minutes? but 20 seconds has a nice ring to it. haha! the ice-cream nvr seem to disappoint. everytime! haha! and we're one happy trio. =D
fel was like the star of the nite. cos both of us was eager to take photos with her. haha! pretty little thing you! *wiggles nose*
